I have always wondered what the motivation would be for supervillian henchmen. I’m pretty sure the pay isn’t great and the health benefits really suck plus you just know at some point you are going to get you ass kicked by your bosses arch-nemesis (which would be Batman in this case). Thankfully Delduwath has answered the question with his piece titled “A Night Out with Harley Quinn”. Ahhhhh now I get it. Supervillains, like the Joker, have access to mega hotties like Poison Ivy, Catwoman and, pictured here, Harley Quinn so as a henchman you have a chance to bang one of these chicks. It’s kinda like being in P. Diddy’s entourage – you know all the girls want to fuck him but you have the chance of getting some leftovers. Here’s what Delduwath said was the inspiration behind this piece:

One of Joker’s attempts to motivate his goons (In Batman: Arkham Asylum) ran through my mind constantly while I was working on this; he said something to the effect of “Whoever kills the Bat wins the grand prize…a night out with Harley! I may even tell her! Oh what’s the use…it’ll be a nice surprise for her!”

Hehehehhe brilliant Mr. J! Well now we know why someone would want to be one of Joker’s goons. Hell, I might be willing to get knocked around by The Dark Knight if I could nail Harley Quinn….maybe.
