I figured this image was rather appropriate as I just finished reading the relaunched (rebooted, retooled, refabricated) Justice League #1. You know, I’m as much a fan of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee as the next guy but all I kept thinking was “Do we really need this?” Sure Marvel did the same thing with the Ultimate Universe but that wasn’t their normal universe – They didn’t negate 50 years of history. Its too soon to tell how well the new DC Universe will be received but at least it got people talking about comics again which is always a good thing in my opinion.

So about the pic – I really like Alx’s clean art style and good use of effects. Sometimes people go too overboard with Photoshop and they bog down the picture as a whole. The effects are there to enhance the artist’s original creation and when used correctly, as you see here with Flash’s blur motion and the earth, they help create a complete image. This is a testimony to Alx’s artistic maturity and the reason why all of the images in his portfolio look as outstanding as they do. I can’t wait to see what he does next.

To be completely honest I can’t believe how awesome this illustration is by InCase. The level of detail on the costumes is outstanding – check out the full sized image to see all the textures – plus the content is hot as hell. It’s hard to find hentai artists that have this level of ability and still produce straight up raunchy images. I can totally see InCase doing pin-up style artwork for a major publisher, he’s that fucking good, but instead he’s drawing pictures of Batgirl trying to swallow Batman’s massive load of cum. EoS as Zatanna for Cosplay Deviants

I think Zatanna has one of the all time sexiest costumes in the DC Comics universe – Those fishnet stockings are absolutely amazing! Admittedly doing a hot Zatanna cosplay set isn’t terribly hard, at least the different pieces can be purchased and worn as-is without having to do any molding or sewing, but the illusion is lost if the cosplayer doesn’t have one thing…amazing legs. Luckily EoS doesn’t have that problem. Her strong legs and dark hair are a dead ringer for Zatanna which is why this set works so well. Of course EoS’ pierced nipples are just icing on the cake but I think they actually fit the character – I could totally see Zatanna having those piercings. Another great set by Cosplay Deviants and just another reason why you should join the site if you are a cosplay or comic book fan.
